In the enterprise application’s world we have some core concerns (business logic) and some cross cutting concerns like logging, auditing, transaction management, memory allocation, security etc. and from the OO Programmer point of view we separate these concerns in order to serve a loosely coupled architecture. And I will focus on logging and compare with log4net which supporting our auditing infrastructure.

I going to compare both of them to help us decide which one use.

Configuarion tool to do changes to all of the blocks in a consistent manner. But at the same time this tool restars the web app to rewrite the web.config when you save changes.

There is not priorities and hierarchical logs in MLAB.

Log4net is much faster.

MLAB provides specific code as well as framework version.
